Development -
You will provide technical leadership in the design and commercialization of new quartz products and associated process technology; support the scale-up and manufacturing trials including development of a test plan, scheduling, EHS approvals, sourcing of raw materials and executing the design of experiments. You will manage equipment modifications through in-house/contract resources and work with operations to identify opportunities for productivity, quality and throughput improvements, then developing and implementing process technology to achieve those goals. Required is a B.S. in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with strong skills in process equipment operation and troubleshooting. 3-5 yrs experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing plant and background in ceramics/glass is desirable.
